Anacyclus
ASTERACEAE / COMPOSITAE

Herbaceous Perennial and Annuals

Anacyclus depressus

Anacyclus pyrethrum

Anacyclus is a genus of mound forming, low growing, prostrate annuals and evergreen herbaceous perennials that grow from a single wiry stem. They are as much admired for their finely cut foliage as they are for their numerous daisy-like flowers which appear during the summer.

The flowers which are usually white with yellow centres are held on short stems just above the finely divided foliage.

Anacyclus are best suited to the rock garden, disliking both cold and wet conditions.
