Herbaceous Perennials

Artemisia. aborescens

The beautiful, silvery, aromatic, fern-like foliage of Artemisia's provides Gardeners with a wonderful background canvas, against which we can weave our own versions of mother nature's tapestry, using foreground plants with darker, bolder leaves, and show off vibrant blue, purple, pink and red flowers to best effect.

Most Artemisias have a bushy upright habit, but there are some that are low growing, have a creeping or spreading nature, and provide good ground cover, again complementing taller, darker leaved plants of a different habit.
