Herbaceous Perennials are the mainstay of every garden, repeating their contribution to our gardens every year;

Bulbs, Corms and Tubers are a wonderful source of colour and perfume and can provide colour almost all year round;

Biennials we can grow from seed. In their first year growing and readying themselves, and flowering during their second season;

Annuals grow from seed to flowering plants within one season, and will always be a quick and easy source of colour in our gardens;

Trees and Hedges can provide vertical structure, shade, privacy, flowers, perfume and even fruit, as well as being a framework for other climbing plants;

Roses deserve their own pages. Their contribution to the garden crossing many of the recognised domains; 

Climbing Plants allow for vertical gardening. Not all of us have large gardens; and where limited space can restrict the number of plants we can grow in the ground. Climbers allow us to use walls, fences, and trelliswork to show off our gardening skills;

Conservatory and Indoor Plants allow us to bring the garden indoors, where we can grow more exotic varieties;

The Bog and Water Garden is a further source of delight, providing a home for many plants that need either water or wet conditions to thrive;

Fuchsias are one of the most beautiful of plants, providing almost continuous flowering throughout the growing season.

Dahlias like Fuchsias have their own fan club and appreciation societies. Once they start flowering it is hard to stop them.

Iris' have a brief flowering season, and yet their beauty like a firework explodes momentarily to astound all. With Perfume too.

Chrysanthemums, with their various flower colour and forms, extend the garden growing season, and have devotees too.

Pinks & Carnations, A long flowering season with Perfume and Beauty too, Unbeatable !.

Begonias. A small corm produces such silky blouson flowers that no-one can dispute their worth. The only colour missing is blue.
